ABOUT ME.......
I have lived on Banks Peninsula, with my husband and 3 children since 1998.
I have always enjoyed painting, originally with watercolour but over the last few years have loved using oils as well, there are many different techniques for both so experimenting & develping my own style is a lot of fun.
Other than painting, my interests include breeding horses, show jumping..with the girls still actively involved, farming, gardening & photography. We also have a collection of non-human family members so there is never a shortage of subject matter!
To date animals & birds have mostly been my subject of choice, I love the challenge of bringing them alive and reflecting their personalities in art.
Having taken art as a chosen subject through school and having a mother who enjoyed painting as a hobby, the interest was always there but now I'm absorbed in taking this passion further.
I have attended various watercolour workshops including Ron Esplin, a renown NZ Watercolour artist & exhibited paintings at "Riversdale Arts" 2016 & 2017
